FOUNDATION FUNDING FOR EDUCATION

Independent, corporate and community foundations have a long history of funding education.  In fact, many have been at the cutting edge of education reform, offering research and technical advice in addition to important grant-making.  In spite of the economic problems we all face, many foundations continue to fund new educational initiatives. Foundation funding can be an excellent supplement to government fund for local education agencies.
